Weapon Proficiency: Swords bard unfortunately doesn't come with longbow proficiency, so we'll just use our longbow without being proficient in it.But this does mean that we're probably going to want to avoid multiclassing until after level 10 so we don't delay getting our hands on it. But since it's a 5th-level spell, we have to be at level 9+ to cast it anyway, so that's fine. ![]() Swift Quiver: We can't actually get this spell until we get our Magical Secrets at level 10. ![]() I'm not just looking at the final build, but about making it fun and viable during progression as well. So I was struck by this fun idea to use the college of swords instead of the college of valor to make the classic swift quiver bard, and I wondered, would that actually work?
